Understanding of the problem of Project
The
Covid-19 virus caused the worst disaster and economic crisis in the world
since World War II. The economic crisis caused by the Covid-19 virus has
affected both developed and developing countries. As
a developing country, Sri Lanka also had to face this economic crisis. Many
families in the city of Colombo where I live have also been severely affected
by the economic impact of the Covid-19 virus. Many families have lost their
main economic means and some have lost their jobs or have had their salaries
cut. Many young people have to spend time on the streets without jobs. This
situation has also increased the tendency of young people to engage in illegal
activities. Because of this economic crisis, job creation and the influx of new
investment have stopped and many institutions and factories have had to close
down. It has become difficult for young people to find jobs. Considering
all this, the main problem in the area where I live can be seen as the loss of
a stable source of income for the youth. Although some young people in the area
where I live are self-employed on a small scale. They have been unable to
engage in this self-employment due to the closure of the country due to the
virus.
Objectives of the project
Explaining this social problem to the people - Raising awareness among the people of the area about the loss of income caused by this virus and the problem of revenue cuts.
Creating a better quality of life - This project is primarily aimed at unemployed people who do not have a decent living wage in the Colombo area. This project will enhance the income of these young people. When the income from this is successful, the living standards of those young people will also improve. The proceeds from this project will help improve the living conditions of these young people, who are the only group in the future who are committed to the security of their country as well as their families.
Improving the knowledge of the youth - This project aims to improve the Information and Communications Technology knowledge of the youth. As the 21st century is intertwined with information technology, it is very important to develop the Information and Communications Technology knowledge of these young people.
Getting young people on the right way - This means getting rid of the illegal activities of the youth community and moving them in the right direction. Through this project, young people can earn income in a way that is not illegal. Young people are addicted to illegal things because they do not have a formal source of income. By improving their sources of income through this project, they stay away from those illegal things.
Solution of Project
The
problem of loss of income, income cuts and rising unemployment due to the Covid-19
virus is mostly faced by the youth in our area. These young people who are
unable to engage in self-employment have to find suitable jobs in the modern
world. Therefore, the most correct and appropriate course of action in
considering these matters is to engage in internet jobs relevant to the modern
world. I suggested the job be done through this interstate. Because every young person in the Colombo area where I
live has some knowledge of the internet. Although there is some
knowledge about the internet, people in the area do not know about working
online. These young people need to adopt a separate strategy to learn about the
jobs they do online. Although there is some knowledge about the internet, these
young people in the area do not know about working online. Therefore, these
young people should follow a separate strategy to learn about the jobs they do
online. Before the commencement of the project, the youth of the area should be
mobilized and discussed with them to explain the Kovid-19 status and its impact
on revenue streams. These young people are then allowed to select the relevant
online job categories of their choice before being trained for these online
jobs. (Ex: - Fiverr Online Jobs and Online selling)
The
jobs I am proposing here are to sell the skills and talents of the youth to
another party online. For example, a person named A has a
talented ability to do Art Work and his skills can be obtained through the
internet by paying money to another party and this facility allows them to sell
their products online.
Young
people will be trained for at least a month on selected online jobs. There is
no charge for this. After this formal training, they will be able to work on
their own online. Here they provide training on how to work online as well as
develop their hidden skills. We hope to obtain the assistance of the National
Youth Services Council to carry out this work. It is hoped to obtain computer
facilities, internet facilities and necessary auditorium facilities through the
Divisional Secretariat to carry out these activities. The auditorium used for
the training activities of the Divisional Secretariat will be used for this
purpose. All of this is coordinated through the National Youth Services Council.
At the end of the training, the Bank of Ceylon will provide the
"SEPI" loan scheme to provide these young people with the internet
and computer facilities they need to get a job. You do not have to pay anything
within the first 8 months of getting the loan. This will make it easier for
young people to do the work that they do in any situation.
Project feasibility
This project will benefit many people. This
project will lead to the well-being of many sectors. The feasibility of this
project is divided into several sections and is described below.
- The feasibility of the youth in the area - With this Covid-19 status, young people in the area will be able to replace the lost jobs with new internet jobs. This project will provide a good income to the youth. Also, this project can employ you in any way you like, full or part-time. The project will also help other self-employment activities of young people. The Internet (Online Sales) gives them the ability to improve their sales. What is remarkable here is that this project can enhance the knowledge of the youth community in the area. That is, knowledge can be developed while doing this online job.
- The feasibility of the social - This project will generate income for the youth of the society. As a result, young people are less likely to engage in anti-social and illegal activities. This project can do a lot of work for the community. That is, the project sells the talents of talented people internet so that those talents can be easily selected and purchased by people in the community.
- The feasibility of the economy - This project will make a huge contribution to the economy. That is, while this project brings energy to the country's GDP. In some aspects of this project, a small amount of foreign exchange is being pumped into the country. The special feature is that the unemployment rate caused by Covid-19 can be reduced to some extent. It gives new life to the economy.
- The feasibility of government - The government will get some relief due to this project. Because of this Covid-19 virus, the government has not been able to help every sector alone. This project will be of great help to the Government. The impact of rising unemployment goes directly to the government. When people lose their livelihood, the government is affected. But by implementing this project, the government will be able to minimize all these impacts.
