On January 2009, the WhatsApp application started its operations for the first time. This WhatsApp application was started by two former employees of Yahoo, Brian Acton, and Jan Koum. Later in 2014, this WhatsApp application was bought by Facebook for $16 billion. After that, this is the biggest update in the WhatsApp application.
As of record, more than 2 billion worldwide use the WhatsApp application. It is used by 390.1 million in India and 75.1 million in the United States.
Due to this WhatsApp application update, developing countries will have the greatest impact. This is because many people in these countries are still using phones with Android 4.1 and iOS 12.
